Bachelor Of Dental Surgery, Doctor Of Clinical Dentistry In Paediatric Dentistry

Specialist training

Dr Katie Bach completed her specialist training in Melbourne through the University of Melbourne and the Royal Children’s Hospital. She graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatrics) in 2014. Katie was awarded an Advanced Trainee Fellowship from the New Zealand Ministry of Health to complete her specialty training.

About Katie Bach

Dr Katie Bach graduated from The University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2008. Following this she worked as a dental registrar at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia, and at Auckland District Health Board.

Katie has a passion for oral health promotion, especially in developing countries and has been involved in many oral health projects including research and training in Cambodia.

Katie is really enjoying being back home in Auckland and is looking forward to making your child’s time at the dentist a fun and positive experience!
