Evolution celebrates employee appreciation day

Posted on March 4, 2022

Today we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day and take this opportunity to acknowledge the incredible staff that help make this organisation great.

Sue Channon, Evolution’s Chief Executive Officer acknowledges the significance of the day for the Group and reflects on the exceptional work that staff across the organisation have provided to New Zealanders and Australians throughout the pandemic.

“People are at the centre of everything we do, and we pride ourselves in the exceptional outcomes we see through our customer satisfaction surveys and high Net Promotor Scores. This is the result of the care and attention our staff have delivered under the most difficult of circumstances. Highlighting key areas of our quality system is a priority for us as it demonstrates our values and commitment to quality and people-centred care,” says Ms Channon.

Throughout the pandemic Evolution Healthcare has continued to operate safely across their New Zealand and Australia healthcare facilities. From lockdowns to traffic light settings staff have provided  exceptional care for people in their communities.

“Over the past two years our staff have continued to demonstrate their commitment to our Group’s prupose and values of integrity, commitment, collaboration, and innovation. It has been a long, and at times challenging two years during this pandemic but our staff have shown incredible resilience. We admire and are so appreciative to all our staff for bringing the best of themselves to work each day and to supporting our aspirations to be a leading private healthcare provider,” says Ms Channon.

To all our staff across our Group, thank you for providing continued excellence in the health and wellbeing of the people in our care!

Here’s how we’ve helped people in communities:

“All medical staff from start to end were awesome. Professional, compassionate and caring. The A-Team!”

“The surgeon and anaesthetist seem to have a good friendship and banter between them which made me feel very comfortable. Overall the team in the hospital were very professional and caring.”

“Everything was done well and also done in a relaxed manner”

“The way the staff spoke to me, I was worried about my op and the drs and nurses explained everything in a caring manner which put my mind at ease.”

“The relaxed atmosphere, the room with its big windows and lovely garden made me feel like I was in a lovely hotel rather than a hospital, the happy caring staff as me feel relaxed and spoiled, to feel this way in a hospital can only be considered part of the healing process of both body and soul.”

“Highly professional and courteous staff helped me relax and feel less anxiety from start to finish.”

“Great staff and their friendly approach that always made you feel that they cared. From arrival until I left.”

“I couldn’t have asked for more!!! everyone was fantastic. The facilities and food were outstanding and I was looked after exceptionally well. Thank you to everyone!!!”

“I would say this is a great place to work as the staff come across as very happy, everybody looked after each other and assisted where needed with a willingness and without negativity.”
